Our Development Center is organized around two major functions: advanced development and process engineering. Advanced development is focused on developing the products and process capabilities needed to meet ongoing advances in the
biopharmaceutical product development and commercialization industry. Through research and working closely with customers, we identify technology trends, market needs, and customer requirements. We use this information to develop technology progressions which drive our product and process development efforts. For example, we establish product technology progressions for
biomarker detection, intelligent knowledge based manufacturing, and high
throughput process development.. Process technology progressions for critical product parameters such as
endotoxin detection and removal, molecular analysis and bio-burden studies,
product contaminant detection and removal and analytical methodology are also established.
Our program engineering organization is focused on delivery of biosensor
prototypes within weeks. Through our customer-centered program teams we are able to achieve rapid design iterations, offer the industry's fastest product development leadtime, and provide accelerated transitions to high volume production.
We use a formal product and process development methodology to ensure we bring the right products to market in a timely manner with capable processes, equipment and tooling. Formal business and technical reviews are conducted on all new products and processes. Final manufacturing verification testing is done before products are transferred to high volume production in our focused factories.
